The Grotte de Lascaux is a prehistoric cave discovered in 1940 by 4 teenagers at Montignac in the Dordogne, in the Vézère valley.

Every morning, in a different village, you'll have the chance to enjoy a nice coffee and wander between the market stalls.

For those staying at Saint Cyprien, you will be able to enjoy the local market (named one of the best market in the region), on Sunday mornings. -
Book a cooking class in a lovely domaine, Le Chevrefeuille, at Saint Cyprien.
This unique one-day cookery course kicks off at 10am where you will get to know other people and chef Ian over a welcome drink on the terrace. You will learn about traditional ingredients of the region, how to identify the best types of produce and what to look for at the local markets.
You will learn how to prepare and cook famous regional dishes such as confit of duck, cabecou, tapenade, regional veloutes, cepes, foie gras and truffles.
The menu changes with the seasons to showcase dishes which make the most of locally grown seasonal produce. A vegetarian option is also offered.
The course finishes between 3 and 4pm.
